About the author
Ella Grace Helton
Ella Grace Helton is a powerhouse of personality child entertainer who enjoys expressing herself through acting, filmmaking, singing and songwriting, ballroom dancing and creating fine art paintings. She has brought moving performances to screen and stage in both comedy and drama, acting opposite some of the industry's biggest stars (her first feature film was opposite Adam Sandler). Most recently known for playing Katie Townsend in the hit Netflix show Sweet Magnolias, she has enjoyed roles in TV, film, commercials and Broadway — all of those by age 6. She also made her filmmaking debut as writer and director at age 9. At age 10, following an award-winning mini festival run with her second short, “The Muralist,” Ella became the youngest to ever be awarded Film Florida’s Sara Fuller Scholarship — an honor historically reserved for high school students. Her third short "The Towel" continues her streak in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. You can learn more about Ella at EllaGraceHelton.com and follow her on Instagram and Facebook @adventuresofellagrace.
