About the film

Visual comedy has always been within me, shaping my approach to storytelling and filmmaking. My passion for humorous character creation, nature and world of imagination deeply influences my work, and these elements are central to my new film, "The Thirst." This short film combines humor with a journey through a harsh, desolate landscape, reflecting my enduring love for blending comedic elements with the beauty and challenge of nature. Through "The Thirst," I aim to bring visual comedy to life, engaging audiences with both laughter and a sense of adventure.

Adrian was born in Poland where as a teenager, with two of his best friends, created Ignition Studios, an independent comedy film group. They have produced about 30 films presented and awarded at local and international festivals. Comedy has always been within him, but that was a time when he could experiment with it, with his sense of humour, audience, and different forms of film.
While living in Cracow, he was involved in Comedy Street Art as well as the live comedy group, still doing smaller comedy film projects however, the main focus at that stage was on his education in the medical profession. He has completed his Master’s degree and commenced PhD studies.
Later, with his wife, he started traveling around the world and from that period of his life, projects like “With Babushka Around the World” emerged.
He moved with his family to Perth in Western Australia ten years ago. They become citizens, have two beautiful children, he has been an entrepreneur for the past five years, and they try to live theirs most beautiful life. He has done multiple acting and film workshops in Australia and he feel it is a perfect time to bring Visual Comedy back to life!
