"Surprise" is a slow-burn horror film designed to get under your skin. A young woman, alone late at night, is tormented by the appearance of a mysterious offering. Inspired by the horror works of Mike Flanagan and Ari Aster, "Surprise" explores the universal fear of what may be lurking in the dark.
Filmed entirely on an iPhone 14 Pro Max, this film is an experiment in sustained tension, as well as an attempt to push the limits of low-light smartphone filmmaking.

A man is going through his late father's belongings when he stumbles upon an Aztec death whistle.

After Henry's father passes away, he travels into town to sort through his estate. His sister, Annie, is being as supportive as she can over the phone. While searching for their father's old pocket watch, Henry stumbles upon an Aztec Death whistle and is unprepared for what happens when he blows into it.&nbsp;

This film was inspired by the harrowing journalistic work that exposed the poisoning of the world with PFAS. PFAS is a forever chemical now found in all water and our blood, hence 'INSIDE US.' The film follows this discovery from the character's perspective as she feels that something is deeply wrong with the world, finds her tears are black, and explores further cutting herself. The Isle of the Dead is the main score tying in metaphors of inevitable death. This horror is insidious in tone.

INSIDE US

A woman confronts her cheating husband in an abandoned train tunnel.

An abandoned railway tunnel connects the towns of Port Smithton and Crawley’s Crossing. When Jason loses his licence to a DUI, he must walk the tunnel to visit Natasha. They have been having an affair for two years and now she is pregnant. Natasha texts Jason’s wife, begging her to let Jason go so they can be together. The next time Jason leaves home to walk to Natasha’s, his wife drives to the other end of the tunnel and walks in to meet him in the middle. There, she confronts him about the affair.
